Oh, the weather outside is frightful
Yes, here in Iowa we’re buried in snow and the weather truly is frightful! And yes, Release 5.1 of Sweet-Billing and Sweet-Field Data truly will be “delightful”! So we’re warming up with hot chocolate and warming up to some hot new features for this release. Thanks to the input of many of our customers, we have made numerous additions to Field Data and have put significant effort in simplifying data entry for State Runsheets. We also have made available a new module that allows a Station to Billing transfer for customers using our Field Data software who wish to review and/or modify Calls before they are moved into Billing. Many of the new features are listed below, and you’ll soon be able to review a complete listing in the Release Notes that will accompany the 5.1 update. You may also contact your Sales rep for additional information and to discuss how you can best utilize these features to increase efficiencies in your Billing and Field Data operations. Here is a sneak peek of some of the features that will be available in Release 5.1: Sweet-Billing · Field Data Station to Billing Interface – This add-on feature provides the capability for Field Data customers to transfer their calls from Remote to Station, then make additional changes and or review the calls before they are transferred to the Billing Server. · Enhanced State Runsheets – reduced entry of duplicated runsheet questions and enhanced speed of entry. Many runsheet questions have been tied to other data so the questions only have to be answered once. · New State Runsheets – Runsheets for the states of Oregon and New York are in the process of being finalized and approved. Sweet-Field Data · Field Data Remote Installation kit – The installation package for Remote has been greatly enhanced and simplified for a more step-by-step approach. · Airway Management – Field Data now includes the capability to document airway management procedures in Remote. · Database initialization expanded – For installation of new systems, the Field Data Remote databases are now populated with an expanded list of medications. · Patient Guarantor/Responsible Party – You will now be able to enter Guarantor/Responsible Party information in Remote and associate it with a Patient record. · Head-To-Toe data entry has many new enhancements, including: o The order of body sites has been modified for head-to-toe, left-to-right. o Allows user defined Injury Types and user defined Body Site labels. o A new “Unremarkable” button (to imply ‘within normal limits’) can be applied to all body sites or individual body sites. o The Head to Toe data entry fields have been moved to a new section to allow for smoother and more efficient data entry. · Field Data RunTypes now allow the activation of the “Trauma” section and the “Head-To-Toe” section in Remote · Alert & Oriented x 3 has been expanded to be x 4, now including “Event” in Remote. · Realtime buttons in Remote – You now have the capability to deactivate the realtime buttons on Times or Dates in Remote. · New button in Remote – allows you to default from Pickup Location or Drop-off Location to populate the Patient Address. · Expanded Capability for Medications, Procedures and Assessments – You are now able to tie Questions to Medications, Procedures and Assessments within Remote to provide for state-required information. · PCR – increased efficiency in printing the Patient Care Report. · Data source identification - Ability in Billing/Station to identify from which Remote Unit a specific call or patient originated. · Patient Refusal form – The Patient Refusal form has been renamed to Patient Acknowledgement form and allows up to 8 separate custom definable statements on the form. At Ortivus North America we continue to listen to our customers needs and translate those needs into features within our software. Thank you to all of our customers for your input and suggestions on how to make our software better; and thank you for your continued trust in our products, services and staff. Let it snow!!
