Christmas Presents...from a Sales Perspective
by Ross Hadley, SE Sales Representative

One of the best activities for a sales person is to be busy generating proposals. As we wrap up 2004, I am looking at my usually organized desk which now looks like a living room after the final present has been unwrapped - full of paper. It is the mad rush to complete sales before the end of the fiscal year and the price quotes are as diverse as our growing customer base. The first to catch my eye is a quote for Sweet-Online Billing for a service that responds to a just over 100 runs per year. The next in the pile is a 30-user Sweet-Billing system for a billing service moving off of a homebrew software package. My stack of quotes for Sweet-Field Data is just as diverse with volunteer rescue squads presented with the opportunity to have the same technology as the "big boys".

At Ortivus North America, our products have the ability to support your needs from one hundred and twenty-five transports to one hundred and twenty-five thousand transports per year; and with the successful launch of Sweet-CAD, our products offer solutions to meet the needs of services of all types and size. Reviewing this paperwork, I realize that these sales are my Christmas presents - the gift of trust from our customers and prospective customers - that we will meet their needs and give them value for their investment in our company and our products. Thank you to those of you who have referred us to neighboring services looking for software or to your state EMS associations - your recommendation is the best gift you can provide us. We look forward to continuing to serve you in 2005!
