CMS has announced 2008 Ambulance Inflation Factor - 2.7%

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced the 2008 Ambulance Inflation Factor (AIF) to be 2.7 percent. It is expected to be published in the Federal Register on November 27, 2007. The new AIF will apply to transports with dates of service between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008.
